Front brake cooling deflector kit
Just took delivery on my new '17 1LT Z51 Stingray convertible yesterday. There was a big plastic bag in the trunk with two items in it. One was a smaller bag with the front license plate bracket, which I get. The other was a bag with a GM Accessories sheet marked "Front Brake Cooling Deflector Kit" and a couple of big hunks of plastic. My guess is this is something the dealer should have installed to divert air from the grill or the fender vents to cool the brakes. Anybody smart on this? Why wouldn't this be factory installed? I searched the forum and do dice.

Thank you, Mountainears. Checked and my new owner's manual reads same as the link you directed me to. As I read it, these parts are for ZO6 only. Guess I got a freebee I don't need or want. Looks like a real pain in the *** for Z racers to install, race with and uninstall when race day is over.
