C7 seat removal/installation
Anybody on forum have experience with removing Competion and GT seats from the C7 (or C7 ZO6)? How difficult a task is it to remove GT seats and install Comp seats?

The hardest part is getting the electrical connector disconnected. It is attached to the seat frame at the forward outboard corner of each seat. It has a plastic pin holding it to the under side of the frame and there is another pin holding the harness that has the mating connector. The connector has to be disconnected from the seat frame unless you have hands that can bend different than mine. The harness has to be disconnected from the seat as well since the seat won't come out of the car without disconnecting it. This harness is much harder to disconnect from the seat connector and the pin holding the harness to the seat than anything the C5 or C6 had due to the location that prevents you from seeing what you are doing.
Once you get the electrical stuff free the next hardest part is lifting the seat out. It helps to remove the roof so you have enough vertical room.

Thanks Bill..how long a job would you estimate it is to remove each seat and install the replacement? Also what trim was the vehicle (i.e was your experience on heated/cooled version of the seats)?
