Why don't u just let them get a new pillar for you. And you can subsequently sell the one on your car, when you switch them out! Otherwise you will be without a pillar for 8 weeks, unless they told u something else. Hell u might be able to sell it to Ortiz, if they start making a lot of them!

Is there a quick and easy way to remove pillar? I spoke to them and if you send your own pillar in as a core there is a price break. I had my car here at work and was going to walk out and take it off real quick. Looks like I have to remove the top piece and the mirror? Is there a 5 min way of removing this bad boy. LOL

Take top off, remove sun visor mount near door, unclip wire connection for mirror. Then remove other side visor clip ( not it has a door over screw that opens from the top NOT the bottom, I used a feeler gauge to pop the door). Gently pull down on upper trim, it will pop down at an angle enough to slid a - pillar out. Remember a-pillar has 2 clips that need to pop out and 2 wire connections that need to be unclipped. Takes about 15 minutes.

If you configure a CC in your PP account you can use that. And I think PP allows purchases without explicitly creating an account.

The wife and I share the pp account. I was trying to fly this one under the radar, I don't think the cam swap and the meth injection install next week is helping my case for needing the pod but as they say.. it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

I got an extra a pillar someone can use as a core. It was more like 10 weeks for me and they lost my BT speaker as well as the 2 vent covers. The product looks fine still have yet to install but customer service is ****. I asked them to cover the $40 to pay for the lost parts and I got crickets.

Ordered mine yesterday. You sent them yours? They didn't ask for mine. Sorry to hear they lost some of your parts. Did they correct the angle of the top pod?

the lead time was more like 10 weeks. and their customer service was non existant until I cancelled my paypal payment, then they had developed customer service. I don't know about the fit yet, I haven't had a chance to install it. hopefully within the next 2 weeks

Yeah you need to make sure you remove the speaker and the grills befor you send the pillar in.

The whole process is very slow, my guess it's only a couple person operation.

Erika is awesome. This is a mom and pop shop. I think it is Erika, her husband, and another family member. It could be bigger then that but who knows. Some email responses are 24 hours while others I would have to follow up. After 6 weeks or so I would follow up once a week because I was told "its coming". She was up front I am just disappointed they lost my parts and took no ownership. Life moves on. I ordered replacements. Oh well.

Guys I have no idea if they fixed the angling. I have been away on business. I should know more next week when I get home. Good luck.
