I lost my brakes on my CTS-V coupe on the back straight at VIR. Was the V heavier, yup. Was I driving the V 9/10ths, absolutely. Did I see God.......almost. Never skimping on brake fluid again.....ever.

Why did you lose the brakes? Fluid boiled? Something else?
BTW, Not trying to talk anyone out of doing expensive full brake fluid flushes before every track event.
However, if you are doing it because you fear there is water in your fluid, please note that you can spend $12 on Amazon and get great brake fluid tester that will tell you if you do have water or not and how much you do.
You may want to consider making an informed vs blind decision.
If you choose to do that, you can test the water content on your brake reservoir, on any open can of fluid, and, more importantly on fluid that you bleed out of your calipers.
If you are super concerned about water in your fluid, you can bleed C7 brakes without even removing the wheels (using outside brembo bleeder screw, and test the fluid for water content.
Who knows. You may find that this gives you just as much peace of mind as doing a full flush before each track day.

Yup, boiled fluid. Switched to Castrol SRF and never had an issue again. The V was very hard on brakes. 4,400 lbs with me and fuel, 140mph straightaway speeds...that's a lot of metal to get whoa'd.

wow! Did not know that. Much rather test and make an informed decision. Thanks!
