Default C7 GS memory seats

Just got my C7 GS with 7 speed manual, and have set the position 1 & exit positions. However, when I get in the car and press the #1 position, the steering wheel, seats, & mirrors all move to their pre-programmed positions. When I start the car the seats, steering wheel, and mirrors go back to the exit position and I need to press the #1 memory position to reset everything to my desired settings. What am I doing wrong? Thx, Don

Wrong key fob perhaps so that the settings are set to #2?

To verify, when you hit #2 instead of #1, do they maybe go to the same "wrong" position as starting the car? Just a wild guess...

I don't have to hit the memory button. When I open the door the seat and steering wheel move to the exit. When I hit Start they automatically move to the programmed position for that fob.

One thing you need to be aware of, and I found out the hard way, is the seat can't be all the way down and all the way back. Bump it up and forward from full down and back. Apparently there is a sensor back there and if you're at the limits of travel your seats may not work properly. Mine failed to work until I adjusted it up and forward a hair. It's a problem that GM has sent mail and videos to owners about. Maybe this is your problem too?

Default Ginger gives wrong tutorial

Every tutorial I have seen even GM bulletin refers to the door buttons. Once they are set that setting should stay with no action from driver except getting in and out of the car!!!!
