Default A8 TC again...Help

Guys I need advice before taking my car back in.

'16 z51. Build date 01/2016. After 5k miles I started having the rpm fluctuating and shuddering problems. Finally took my car in 3 weeks ago and had the TC changed.

The dealer installed part #24280631. After only 100 miles I am experiencing the same problems!!

Same rpm issues and shuddering. My car HAD the latest revised TC from the factory and it failed. The dealer installed the same latest revised TC and it's still not fixed.

What's next??

I don't think #24280631 was available 01/2016. So the car must have been built with a different TC.

You could ask the dealer to preform the three flush TSB. If that doesn't work you could ask them to replace the trans.

The return core part # going back to GM is the exact part # as the one they installed.

I will ask and see about the flushing procedure.

I know nothing about this problem as I drive a M7 BUT, I know reflashing or rebooting the computer may really help! Just a thought, good luck!

Your TC part number doesn't make sense. When did you buy the car?

This guys car built on 8/12/2016 didn't even have that newer part number in it. His came with 24279495.

It was built on January '16. I am going off of the service receipt. Shows the core # as the same as the # installed.

Personally, I question whether the TC mfg is actually changing anything with the different part numbers. I am suspicious its just a way to track when it was mfg.
