Default Please educate me on Headers/Catback/Exhaust

This might sound silly but without the FULL system from head to catback I am not quite sure what is all involved here. So here's the deal. Cars blown and has factory manifolds with a Corsa X-pipe and Xtreme catback. I would like to leave that system in place. If I were to order a set of long tubes could I have them just married to my exhaust without their respected X pipe or is that just silly. The logical part of me says "Buy headers and xpipe same brand and marry to Corsa catback then sell Corsa xpipe". Does that make sense. What am I missing here. Lets say I go out and order a set of Kooks with xpipe. They all bolt together no problem. Then it just bolts right up to catback very easy. Correct? I don't want to cut, weld, and "make fit".

Your logic is sound. Sell the x-pipe. Just have 1-7/8 LTHs to 3" off road x-pipe. Then marry that the exhaust.

Just curious, What kind of boost are you running? Are you running dual nozzle meth? You will need a tune so I would upgrade the meth if you haven't already. Just my two cents.

Teddy, sell the corsa X pipe, buy LT's that include an X pipe. No welding or piecing it together. Get ARH LT's. Hands down the best..

Thanks guys I appreciate the feedback. I ended up with a set of Kooks with high flow cats and coated. Couldn't pass up the deal from Maryland.

I meant to also ask if you're going to install them yourself? I have some pointers to share, if you are.
