Default Radiator fan measurements

Im doing some research on electric fans,

Curious if someone could give me some info and measurements of the c7 cooling fan,

I need shroud width not including the mounting tabs sticking out,
I need height of just the shroud then height including the fan sitting above the shroud and then height including that top hanger,

Also does anyone have even a guess how much cfm these fans put out either 500 or 600 watt,

Many thanks,
Cheers,
Bats

I'm looking for this information too. Looking to retrofit a PWM fan on my 1968 Camaro and hoping that it's a 16" fan, or slightly larger would be ok too.

did you find info on this? there's a good thread about it on the hp tuner site. the camaro fan is 850watt if you can fit it. spal limits its aftermarket fans to about 30amps. this is way more powerful then 2 of their fans they will sell the aftermarket. since the average guy can't wire something that pulls 60 or so amps. so they just don't sell them.

I ended up buying a C7 fan and modified it to work with my current shroud on my 1968 Camaro. The C7 fan diameter is roughly 14" and has a 500 or 600 Watt brushless motor depending on the model. The one that I picked up is a 600 watt unit and works really well. I wired it up using 8 ga wire and a 70 amp circuit breaker. It works incredibly well and is actually quieter than the fan I replaced it with. I love the soft start and Duty Cycle that I can control with my Terminator X Max ECU.

that's good to hear. mine was delivered today. just a quick pic of it laying on a c6 radiator. seems to fit well, 2 points line up and easy enough to fab the other 2. it isn't a full shroud like the 05 fan was, but much more coverage than my 08 shroud. I won't know if it clears everything for a few weeks plus this radiator is much wider than my stock one it's replacing.

I have found a post by what claims to be a spal engineer on the trail blazer as boards

saying that gm required amps limited to 45amps. so at 13.8v you get the 600w but if you have to much load at idle for your alt and it drops to 12v it will limit the current draw at 45amps. which seeing as mine struggles to keep up on a hot tx day stopped for a while, limiting the draw on the alt sounds like a good idea, all while since it's brushless and still 500w at 12v should move more air than the stock fan.
