Default C7 wiring harness splice?

Anyone ever had to splice the wiring harness on a C7? I had to splice the last two connectors on the transmission wiring harness and I am still having GM-LAN related problems. Any advice? Can this be done successfully?

When you say splice, do you mean just cut and reconnect, or are you inserting any amount of length of cable?

If it's twisted wire, be sure to use a twisted pair. That's for noise reduction on the LAN.

Cutting and reconnecting using no-soldier crimping connectors. Length is roughly the same, but it's possible I added an inch or two in there. Previous connectors were ripped off during accident. All twisted pairs were maintained.

I would try soldering them and avoid any crimps.

Funny, as it turned out, the dealer found several other broken or disconnected wires causing problems but the splices were all good
