Default C7 Dual Mode Exhaust

I have a 2014 C7 with LT2 trim level. It does not have the Z51 package, nor the dual mode exhaust. Can the standard exhaust system be converted to the dual mode exhaust? I would like the car to be louder at times, but also would like it quieter while cruising the interstates. Has anyone done this?

Convert the standard exhaust to dual mode? No. The non-NPP mufflers are completely different than the NPP mufflers, and converting them isn't possible.

You can rip out the stock mufflers and replace them with the dual mode (NPP) mufflers, but you would also need to add a controller to open/close the valves.

Likely not cheap -- you could have over $1000 into the upgrade before you're finished.

How much is it worth to you?
