Do the wheels on 2017 Grand Sports all have negative camber from the factory that is noticeable with our eye?
Thanks
I don't know what the factory alignment specs are for a GS, but I assume they're probably close to the Z06. Or maybe somewhere in between the Stingray and the Z06.
Below is a sheet with the 2015 factory specs, and you can see the camber ranges from -0.2° to -1.1°.
So....if you can see something that's probably less than 1° on the GS, then I guess it's "noticeable with our eye". I can't really tell that myself by looking at the wheel - especially if it's down like a Stingray at 1/2° or less.
My negative camber on my GS was pretty bad. My inner rear tires would of worn quickly. I just had the dealership do an alignment to straighten them up. I won't track the car so I perfer better tire life.
Just had my GS aligned at 2000 miles, and yes, 3 of 4 wheels were out of spec on camber and rear toe was off. Get the car aligned, Bowling Green not great at getting it right prior to shipping. And prior to alignment, it did look like my car was off to the naked eye.
