Default 2014 C7 Stingray battery

Hi all...the battery went dead in my 2014 C7 stingray. I replaced it myself (really hard to get out of compartment) but I persevered and bought the new battery and connected it back up. Now there is nothing happening. I worked for GM for 32 years and know about cars. I put the fob in the steering wheel location and tried to start it, nothing.

Am I on a security lock down? Please help. The vehicle has only 3000 miles on it. I let it sit too long in garage, that is why the battery died.

Thanks for any input.

Check your fuses and also use a volt meter to ensure the charge is flowing theough to the fuse box.

Suggest the first step is to make sure that the new battery is good and to check all connections.

I'd check the big *** fuse on the top of the battery. 300A or something like that. If you're getting nada power, I'd bet you blew that fuse.

I'd also check the ground wire connection as well. I replaced my battery and the tech broke the wire. Same thing.
