Default CAGS skip shift

I had a C6 Z06 with the skip shift eliminator, but instead of a wiring harness that pluged into the transmission it was a fuse that was replaced under the hood. Does anyone know if they make this fuse for the C7 Z06?

C7 needs the a CAGS eliminator that gets plugged in at the transmission.....there is no fuse version for the C7.

Fortunately, the transmission plug-in version is super cheap ($20), and can be installed in like 10 minutes by any shade tree howler monkey-level mechanic and a set of ramps.

C7 CAGS is not like the system in the C6. The C6 CAGS is so annoying, I personally put the eliminator on my 2006. The C7 system is virtually unnoticeable, I am on my second C7 and have not installed the eliminator on either one, probably never will.

I have a '16 and found that the CAGS didn't normally bother me but several times, while turning, it shifted to 4th and was irritating. The car has enough torque to pull in 4th at 15 mph, it was just irritating. I had the eliminator installed and no more problems! Best $20 I've spent!

The CAGS eliminator adds a few inches to the harness length, and mine took 5 min. to install and 30 min. to find the best routing away from the left exhaust pipe. Kind of tight up in there where it connects to the tranny. Works as expected and only costs $11 shipped (Ebay).

I could've lived without it by just shifting above 2500 rpm, but I don't want the ECU forcing my driving style.

My C7 has tried many times to skip-shift on me, but an ancient habit of mine to firmly pull back and to the left when aiming at 2nd has overpowered its attempts every time. It seems that the gate is springloaded and isn't a hard wall totally preventing you from grabbing 2nd.

If the message didn't pop up on the dash, I'd probably never know it was trying.

When mine tried to force me into 4th gear from 1st I would just go up to 3rd, which I do a lot anyway.
