Default Hydroplane thread, Goodyear eagle one ?

I just read through the hyfroplane thread. I have the eagle one runflats with Corvette rims on my Camaro. These tires have a lot of tread depth. How come Goodyear did not come up with a runflats tire for the GS, Zo6 and Z51 ? Wish I could have tires like those on the c7 I get. ( I'm a fan of runflats )

GM switched to Michelin run flats with the C7 and the C6 ZR1 and C6 Z06/Z07. The Michelin Run Flats perform better than the GY EMT tires that you have.

Goodyear makes runflats that are made for C7 Z51 . I put a set on my 2015 Z51 and they were very good in the rain. hope that helps you .

IMO, (ugh oh), no tire dissipates water well if the inner circular grooves are not cut to the outside with sipes to allow water to "push" out from under tire quickly.
