Default Having trouble with steering between modes

When I put the car in track mode the steering weight changes to a very heavy feel. Going into the driving mode settings I default the steering to sport but the wheel still changes to a heavy feel in track mode. Is there something wrong with the car or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Sam

Steering assist is variable. Sport and track I think have about the same feel.
Touring, E, and W increase the amount of assist so the wheel feels lighter.
I think the 'lower' modes also ignore a small amount of input - so on road trips you are a arent working as much, and road feel is decreased.
So I doubt anything is wrong - it supposed to work that way.

Steering mode it is configurable through vehicle settings.
Personally, I prefer the heavier track mode to the light tour mode.

Track is heavier than Sport, but both will feel heavy versus Touring.

I keep mine in sport 100% of the time.
