Default Cam Question

I have a C7 Z51, if I want to upgrade my camshaft, do I need to upgrade other components like the heads or lifters?

You will need more than just a cam, valley cover, lifters, valves springs, lifter trays, puahrods, phase limter, dod delete, etc im not sure if there is more part in it but that all I remember now

You will likely need to swap out the valve springs in the heads, but other than that, you can leave them stock if you wish. Lifters and other components will get replaced. If you go with only a slightly larger cam, you might be able to get by with keeping the stock valve train, but if you're going to go to all the trouble to swap the cam, might as well go with something significantly larger to get the best bang for the buck...here are a few options:
