Default Tire replacement and size ?

I know this subject has been beaten to death, but since I need to replace my OEM tires on my z51 I thought I would ask for some advice & recommendations on replacements. As a note I have dedicated tires & rims for winter so this is for summer tires only. I’m wanting to go a little wider, but don’t want rubbing issues. My pic as it stands now are below. Note this will be on OEM wheels.

Michelin Pilot sports (92y) Starr BMW, 255/35-19, tread width 9.2”, section width10.2”, 26” diameter.

Michelin Pilot Sports (101y) 295/30-20, tread width 11.6”, section width11.9” 27” diameter.

What do you guys think? Other recommendations ?

Thanks!

Your choices will work.
My Z51went to 305/30/20 & 265/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.
Had a rub issue on drivers side rear that I cleared, no biggie.
Have autocrossed a dozen times and these tires stick well.
305/35/20 not 30.
Sorry

Don’t see a PS2s in 305/30/20?

Most the 305’s I see aren’t any wider in tread width than the 295’s

Doh.. I just got finished posting a question on a different thread but this is the exact question that I have:

I was one of the original purchasers of these RF1.1's. The color that I chose was nice but I grew tired of the semi-gloss black finish. Just a few days ago, I removed these RF1.1's off of my 2014 Z51 C7 and took them to my local powder coater.

I got to thinking..

19x9.5+50mm offset
20x11+70mm offset

I am running Michelin PSS's all the way around. 255's up front and 295's in the rear. I have NEVER had any clearance issues, ever. I have a chance to buy some Michelin PSS 305's but there doesn't seem to be any data if they will clear or not. I would appreciate the input!

Oh by the way, the car is at stock height. It is not lowered.

On my 15 z51 I switched to non run flat tires at 1000 miles and went with Pilot ss in 305 rear and 265 front. My car is lowered about 3/4". I never rub on the fronts and only rub every once in awhile on the rears. I have 22,000 miles on these tires and the rub marks on the rears aren't even noticeable. I drive my car pretty hard as it has a procharger, z06 brakes and around 5-7 track days a year. I am happy with these tires as they still have some tread, even with a supercharger and track days.

I ran Nitto 555's on my C5 for 210,000 trouble free miles. Three sets total with 7mm left on the third set when I sold the car. 70k+ miles per set! 80k on the rears easy. $750 for all 4 mounted although that was 4 years ago, maybe that has changed somewhat given the tire size increase.

Dry grip is excellent. Wet is good too although less so.

I will be buying these for my C7 after the OEM's wear out.

I better stop now or I will sound like a salesman.

I've got a 2016 Z51 with the weapon x 6mm wheel spacer kit and I'm lowered (factory bolts backed out)

I'd love to run 295/30 in rear and 255/35 up front but nervous
