Cost of roll bar install?
Any guesses as to what a roll bar would cost for a '14 Z51 A8

I have scheduled an appointment to get a cam swap and E85 upgrade done ('14 Z51 A6) and will probably be in the low 11s. IF, that is the case and I need to install a roll bar, can someone give me a good idea of how much that would be? I don't have any mechanical skills and would need to have someone install it for me.
Also, any suggestions on someone who installs them? I live in Chicago but would be willing to travel to someone who does quality work

It you pay for it I would say 800.00 to 1200.00 labor. This will do more to where you take it for the install. Robert

Check with the Track where you plan to race.
Earlier I went to the local track and asked what the limits were .
I was able to run my Z06 Vert without a rollbar.

Per the NHRA rule book, Street Legal drag racing section.
The car can run down to 9.99 and no more than 135 MPH.
The only mods allowed though are DOT tires.
Snell 2010 or newer helmet required.
These rules apply for the Street Legal racing only, usually a T/T Friday night type of deal.
