Default Wheel size questions...

HI, new to the forum and corvettes.
I have just purchased a 2016 base coupe A8[not Z51] with the magnetic ride package so it came with 19/20 wheels and tires vs the 18/19.
I will probably buy a set of take-off wheels for dedicated winter or all -season tires.

My questions;
1 are my wheels the same wheels as the Z51? Assume I have standard brakes. Really don't know why you receive larger wheels and tires with the magnetic ride.
2 what is the offset front and rear?
3 would 18/19 wheels and tires work on this car or do I need to stay with
19/20
4...any other thoughts or comments?
thanks
Mike

Default

1) yes, same as Z51

2) +56 front, +79 rear (both non-Z51 and Z51 Stingray wheels have the same offsets and widths, just different diameters)

3) yes 18/19 will work just fine

4) good plan to use the 18/19 for winter use. Just make sure you use stock size 18/19 tires to keep the electronics happy (or at least make sure your rear tires are about 1" taller than the fronts -- that's what the electronics looks for in comparing rotational speeds for Traction Control, Active Handling, etc.)
