Oil life reset

Oil life reset

The "Options" selection on the DIC on my car is grayed out so I can't select it to reset the OLM. Anyone know how to correct that?

Hm... Scrolling down to oil life remaining on the DIC and press and hold the Set/Reset button doesn't reset it?

The oil life reset is in the Options menu, correct? "Options" is grayed out and I can't select it. Nav, Phone and Audio are selectable, but not Options.

This is gotten to by pressing the down arrow on the steering wheel. When you get to the remaining oil life display, then you push the reset button and hold it until the oil life resets. This is a DIC display, not over on the big NAV screen.

I'll go check on my car...

Got in car
Pressed Start button and went into ACC
Arrowed down to oil life remaining
Right Arrowed to oil life
Reset button was highlighted waiting to be reset.

I'll try again. The other times I've done it the arrow down did nothing.
