Id like to do some data logging and I'm looking for advice on what hardware/software i need. Thanks.

HP Tuners or EFI live. I have personally used HP Tuners. I hear that EFI has a module that allows data recording without dragging your laptop with you

I use HP Tuners. No laptop required for logging.

PDR provides some limited data recording capabilities with the 17 and 18 models having more data selection than previous years. You do have to use the Pi Toolbox to access the data.
