I know that alignment coming out of BG is not completely uniform. I'm curious for those that got the car aligned after buying it with the track alignment recommendation if it changed the steering feel of what is going on in the front of the car. I'm considering getting back into a Corvette again.
Yes, it does. Car feels "pointy" as compared to factory. I don't have my exact specs in front of me, something like 0 Toe, -2.0 Camber and 8.0 Caster. Pretty close to the DSC Specs. Link below for reference.
My car came with -1.1 degrees of camber at each wheel. Front caster was close to spec. However, I had no way to even estimate rear caster. Based on how the car drove and the fact the camber settings were pretty much right on the factory spec I suspect the rear caster may have been set at 0.0.
Several months after the track alignment (the dealer didn't have the rear caster tools either) I found out the left rear caster was +0.4 and the right rear caster was -0.5. Not even close to the 0.0 that GM recommends or the +0.7 degrees recommended by DSC.
