Default E-85 require fuel pump and injector change????

Looking at some upgrades and my tuner said I may need to do more for E-85. What have others experienced on Z06? Thanks

He mentioned Z06 so FI. Still will depend on his mods and boost level though.

Plan to do a Pully swap, halltech cai and Akrapovic cat back exhaust. Not much after that. See a lot on here about e85. My tuner said he would have to check and see if the stock set up would support the extra fuel. Just thought i could find out quicker on the forum as several on here already know the answer I am sure. Thanks

You should be able to run close to full E85 with that setup. Your fuel system should handle it..

Man if I were you I would look at a new tuner someone that has done more than a few tunes on the c7. On your set up that you are saying here on this DI inj's like Ant has said you should be 100% good on no more than you have done with the car.

Now the LS stock inj on the c5 & c6 diff story all together. I am not saying you have a bad tuner just if he has done what you are saying he should be able to tell you right off about 100% you will be good to go. Robert

Yes I was a little concerned about the lack of knowledge on the Z06. He does a lot of camaro’s. I am in central Arkansas and there is not a lot of C7 Z06s being modded in this low populated area. I have a lot of respect for this guy as he has done other things for me in the past. I also do like that he says what he knows and what he does not know. I am confident on having him do the Pully and tune. He seems to be real high on doing meth injection. I do appreciate all the help and any additional advice from you guys. I just do not want to go overboard with this car. Opinions on meth greatly appreciated also. Thanks

You can never go wrong with meth. Adding meth will allow for additional octane and supplemental fueling if necessary.
