I went to start my C7 after about a month and didn't install my trickle charger so the battery was low. I was able to open the trunk and door just fine so I thought It may be OK. I pressed the start button and it clicked a few times like the starter was trying to engage. I pressed it again to shut the car down so I could install the trickle charger, and it tried to start again. I exited the car and installed the charger, then reached in and pressed the start button again. This time the car shut down, my tail lights were flashing though, they flashed slower and finally stopped after a few seconds. I disconnected the charger and reconnected it the car went completely dead. The charger showed charging so I left it on till morning. It still showed charging so I disconnected it, reconnected it and left it the rest of the day. At the end of the day I had a solid light on full charge and blinking light on charging. I didn't get any warning lights. The car is still completely dead, nothing works at all.
I'm curious if anyone else has run into this. It's apparent to me that it somehow either blew a main fuse or relay. I'm wondering if anyone would know what fuse to try or relay first, rather than me doing trial and error.
The GM trickle charger may not help a sulfated battery. Need lots more current. Frankly once the battery is fully run down, it will never be very good. As I recall a blinking light indicates a charging problem. It tried and gave up!
Have you tried jump starting with a known good battery? If it starts just toss the old battery and buy new. If it doesn’t you can check to see if you have voltage after the large 300 amp fuse that is located on the power board connected to the positive terminal. Hard to see how you would have blown that from what you have done.
I’d spend ~$150 and buy a AMG battery and use your charger when the car sits for more than 2 weeks. If like in a recent post you drive the car 3 times a week for 15 minute trips, use the charger every time you park the car!

Thanks.
Hmm, no answer from you.
Frankly appears to me you may have no understanding of how a Car lead/acid battery works and perhaps think it may be like a Cell phone battery! Just plug in a Stone Dead battery that just had enough power left to open your door and it will recharge and be like new. NOT!
A clue was plugging the charger in and thinking a short time putting an amp or two of power back would handle the 200 plus amps needed to turn the starter motor!
Perhaps I am wrong, would like to know. Let us know what you did!
