PDR question
hey guys, I was out at buttonwillow last week and did a couple quick sessions, I set the finish line but the PDR never generated lap times.
I noticed after a few laps it would again say set finish line ??? I set it several times but no luck
It has worked before at this track , The only thing I can think of is that I recently let the on star subscription expire, does it need this for gps/satellite reception to generate times ?

You don't need on star for the PDR to record laps. Is there a .map.gpx file in the root of the SD card you were using? That gets created when you define finish line. If you were hitting "define finish line" and it wasn't getting created then my bet is that your SD card is going bad. I've had that happen and even though it said it was recording a session when I went to pull it from the card the file wasn't there. I also couldn't reformat the card and ended up throwing it out.
