If it was me I would pull trans & rear with the full rear cradle coming down... As heavy as these parts are now need a 2 post lift is the only way are to be the easy way... Robert

Rear bumper has to come off for a clutch install so prob the same for you to get that auto out. There no way to "2 guys garage" it anymore with the way they designed the exhaust in the back from what I hear. 11 H MINIMUM job by pros on a lift....GM book is like 19 hrs for a clutch replacement.

On C5 and C6, it was always the easiest to just drop the whole rear cradle down..

I am guessing it would be the same on C7, but i never done an auto and all those coolers on 17' C7Z got me cross eyed.. I was hoping for some tips or short cuts or something on pulling it out.. If i feel adventurous i might write something up as i go along. It might help someone in future.

as for 19 hours to change clutch in C7... holly.. what are they doing.. that is way to much time..

Back lower bumper has to come off, plus the mufflers & over pipe also. Then drop the rear cradle will be the way to go here. Robert
