Dam!! Definitely badass!! I had a manual challenger that I just couldn't get into the 11's. I now have a manual z51 that I wanna take to track but don't wanna go till I know I'll be under 12? All I have done is haltech. Think I'd be there if did the headers and a tune also?

The biggest issue with the manual will be getting the launch down. The autos are for sure easier to launch. You should be able to get in the 11s easily with a good 60ft. Headers and flex fuel tune will add quite a bit to the car. I would want the headers for the sound alone... they scream at full tilt

U need to practice and earn that 11!

I'd look into a drag radial.

Thank you sir! Yeah would like to get the 60 down a little more. Looking at adjusting some of the torque tables some in the tune.

I'd bet that tire I've been recommending would get you in the 6's.

Maybe will they fit on a 18x12 wheel though?

You mean trans/rear/axles? Yes. Stock A8 with stock converter. Motor is stock other than the ported oem items on top end.

ALso did go 10.85 before the ported heads w/ boltons only. The ported heads throw me into the head/cam group now.. so I am a little on the slow side compared to others right now.

Nope.. no converter for me. Nor cam. I want to retain 100% stock driveability for mountain runs/road course days. May go with a ported MSD intake but that will only gain a tenth and mph.. so not really worth it

Nah.
Not worth the minimal gains to change anything.
You can stretch them on a 10" rim if you had one laying around or nearby but still effort for minimal.

I'd lend you my tires and rims if you were in the area.

Yeah, probably wont change up rear wheel setup for minimal gains. Now if I was 1 tenth away from the record.. then for sure.. would give it a go. I am in NC, but I appreciate the offer

Gary H. usually runs a November rental @ MIR with great track prep.
Probably not too far for you.
If you wind up going, I'll find a way to get you them.
