2018 GS 2LT: Looking for part number for correct OEM TPMS
I have recently bought a 2018 Grand Sport in 2LT. I want to put a dedicated autox/track set and have a DD set (oem). So for the new track set, I need a set of tpms. After some research on tmps, I found out the following things:
1. Early c7 were manual relearn? which carried a different tmps number?
2. Later TPMS were auto learn, which were different? Putting later tpms in early car and early tpms in later cars caused issues with calibration process.
3. For 2018 and above C7 GS/z06 etc, tmps are different with a different part number.
So, without me removing wheel and looking at the at the tpms, can you tell me which tpms to buy for 2018 model?
Thanks

All C7 model years are auto-learn.
All C7 model years use the same part# sensor.
For some reason the part# for the sensor was changed for 2016, but GM does that on a regular basis for lots of parts.
Either part# sensor will work perfectly in any model year C7.
Part# for the early sensor is 13581560 and it was superseded by 13598775
Either sensor will work and will auto-learn in all C7 model years.
Take a look at the thread linked below. I believe he has a 2016, and he got the early part# sensor. The tire shop did a manual relearn procedure, but that is not required at all - the sensors will "auto learn" by just simply driving above 20 mph for several minutes:

You're welcome - glad to help out!!
BTW, take a look at the link below and you can see the 13598775 sensors listed. Click on the link below, then click on the "+" to expand the Chevy and Corvette lists. You'll see that the part# covers all model year Vettes (and all models) 2014-2018, and I'm virtually certain the 2019 uses the exact same part# tire pressure sensor as well:
