TSP Longtube Headers Swapping Cat Pipe
I have a set of TSP Longtubes on my car. I had a shop do the install along with the tuning once I got underneath the car on jack stands and saw how much of a pain it would be wrestling with. I had swapped a catless X pipe onto the car previously so I'm comfortable on my back underneath the vehicle and have the tools for it.
My current problem is that the Cat pipes I have rub the tunnel plate and I need to swap a new cat pipe on the car. The shop I had do the work is an hour away and I would need to drop the car off on a weekend or take off a day of work, neither being options I like.
I attempted the swap and while underneath the car I have no problem undoing the clamps from the header to the cat pipe, the cat pipe to axleback section at the hangers, and the clamps at the axleback. I also can take the O2 sensors out no problem. Once its all loose though I can't get the pipes to slide in any direction. My only other thought was take the mufflers off to slide the pipes apart but it can't be that hard. What am I missing?
