Default What fuse do I pull if...

...I want to have my exhaust left open on a base 2015 LT1 without Z51 package? Any reasons why I shouldn’t do that?

It was fuse 42 on my 2016 with same equipment as yours. No harm at all, but if you don’t have AFM disabled, you may notice some less than pleasant sound when the engine is in V4 mode. I have the Range AFM disabler on my car, so full V8 sound all the time. After upgrading from a C6 with headers and Billy Boat PRT mufflers, this car is super quiet even with the exhaust valves open all the time.

42 is correct.

Leave it to me to ask the obvious question, but you *do* have the optional Dual Mode/Performance exhaust, right?

If you have the standard exhaust, pulling the fuse will make no difference.

(I only ask because your Q has been asked before by others who did NOT have the optional Dual Mode/Performance exhaust... just making sure!)

I honestly have no idea. I have two pairs of pipes with two mufflers. Not very mechanical I’m afraid.

Look into the pipes. Do 2 of them have a visible flap inside? If yes, then you have NPP, if No, then you do NOT have NPP.

definitely not NPP as I have no flaps. So to make this car sound as good as it’s performance, my only choice is to decide on a performance exhaust and I have no idea which one to choose. BB, Corsa, Borla - I’ll pull the trigger on something when something clicks.
Thx

Yup, aftermarket is your choice.

X-Pipe will remove 2 of the cats without a problem, then a Corsa, BB, or Borla hooked on after that and you can change the sound. What you can't get rid of are the valves (AFM valves) up-channel in the exhaust on the pipes. Those are used to make the car sound better when you switch to V4.
