Default 2017 Grand Sport with Z06 blower

Just finished my car with z06 blower and I luv it can kill a stock z06 now
Running 12lbs of boost and had several problems tuning it and blew out front seal from too much timing and no venting system ( my fault greedy )
Any one thinking on putting blower on lt1 — do it runs like bat out of hell
Parts list
Z06 blower ——. 1700
Lower pulley z06 ——— 80
Tensioner z06 and belt —- 150
Stock z06 intake —. 100
All parts used
Optional. Z06. Fuel system for extra power
E85. Kit.

Thanks to billy at Mti and pat g for tuning help —for the base map

What tires you running, cause they've got grip for days!!!

I'd have probably gone with a different solution if I were putting a blower on the GS. One of the chief complaints about LT4 is the undersized unit and how fast it spins to make boost.

Well price per HP. Can’t go wrong

Tires are stock and it will spin them all day long lol

Very nice looking car. You aren't worried about your powertrain warranty I take it?

These cars are pretty darn stout, as long as there are no tuning issues I wouldn't be worried about the warranty either. I just modded my car last week, lol

OP congrats on your 1.7l blower upgrade, where did you come across this unit?

Nice,
yeah I'm not on the Centri Blower bandwagon, hoping there are viable solutions for PD blower upgrades and DI fueling.

Is it because the blower lid/brick has been revised like the LSA?

So the LT4 uses forged pistons and it runs at a lower compression - don't you guys think this would be a necessary upgrade?

If I'm not mistaken the LT4 is 10:1 CR not sure about the LT1 which is what this thread is about. I'd say the LT1 can handle this and LT4's handle over 1K

Cheers
