Rear hatch issue
i have an ‘14 premier edition that i bought from a friend six months ago. i have a problem with the hatch. it unlocks just fine but the latch doesn’t bounce up enough to get a finger under the edge to pull it open. i have to put a flat blade screw driver in and pry it up enough to get a finger under the edge to pull it open. seems the hatch was not fully aligned when it was installed. looks like passenger side rear corner rubs on the back trans em. i coated both edges with silicone and that worked for a bit but no longer. the hatch simply won’t push up enough when unlocked to get a finger in to open the hatch. anybody else have this and found a solution? my dealer is always the last resort.
