Double Sided Tape Width on GM Stage 2 Wickers
Hello,
New to the site and happy to be here. Ordered stage 2 CF wickers from C7 Carbon but the double sided tape is not included. Does anyone know the width of the double sided tapes that GM pre attaches to their OEM stage 2 wickers. Pics show 2 different widths. One looks like 1/4”and the other 1/2” but not fully sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I'm not familiar with the C7 carbon version of the stage 2s, but if they look like GM wickers, the screws are all that is needed.
But if you want to use double sided tape sized the same as the GM part, I believe it is the 1/4". I have bought 2 sets of the GM wickers for 2 Grand Sports and I did not use the tape, just screws. No reason why 1/2" tape wouldn't work either though.

Thanks for your response. See pic below of the GM OEM wicker and you can clearly see 2 different size widths on the tapes. Not all 1/4. I agree wickers will still stay on with just bolts but the GM recommended instructions is to use both the bolts as well as the supplied tape to prevent vibration of the wickers during movement which could lead to abrasions / scratches on the mounting surface. Thanks again.
