Default Fun PDR drag vid to share, GTR flyby !

I road course some and drag some, it's soo nice having the PDR not messing with GoPro, Waylens or what not for data/video.

Here is a fun vid, sweet melody of AFE catless down pipes, catless Borla midpipe , no lift shifts M7 vs my brother's GTR FLYBY !! ( 9.4 15Xmph pass for him, it's been 8.8 in 1/4 & 201mph in 1/2mi at Shift Sector, it's approx 1300whp / ER1300 pkg )

I got out front with .0X RT until about 100mph and Bye bye bye, btw this event was my 1st 10sec pass..stock I was 11.1 127mph, did a few mods and hit a best of 10.8 129mph M7 car on Hoosier 335s

Enjoy !

Cool! I'm surprised the RPM seems to shoot up to about 7300 on the NLS shift, at least from the video!

Nice and smooth bro.

Looks like you launched around 2900rpms @ 84% throttle on a 335 hoosier.

The PDR provides great data for people.

What was the 60 foot and tire pressure?

Very nice, my buddys GTr does 1400 to the wheels. He said he'll be happy at 1500. My reaction of course was 1400 isnt enough?!

I like to pretend the red area starts at 7000, as it makes the racing more exciting. So your numbers will be different than mine because you're using the -actual- scale on the tach. Sorry for any confusion.

In other words, yup, I read it wrong, you're right!

Still, I'm surprised the RPM "overshoots that far into the red", like 6950.

That's a good ET for Spokane.

DA is not racing friendly.

What mods did you do over the winter?

Although it's tough to measure without looking at a data logger it looks like on the 3-4 shift the rpms spiked about 100rpms which IME is quite low. A lot depends on the setup and clutch but if we are trying to determine if the no lift feature ( maintaining a constant rpm ) worked here it seems like it did.
It would be cool to have more data and test all different scenarios. I know there is a proper sequence to assuring no lift shift works as people have had issues but likely were slightly off on their timing of things. Would be nice to confirm this stuff to help us all learn how to utilize all the new technology to our benefit.

For drag racers I think this feature may be useful because if it works correctly it will allow the racer to shift ~100 rpms before redline without invoking the rpm limiter which will often result in better et/mph in most setups.

It's fun to look back at for sure, also perspective of my brother's GTR how crazy fast it is!

Both my 10.8 passes were a 1.6 60' with a cold tire 18psi ish' seemed to work well. Only 1-2 passes of night I spun, sweet spot from 2500-3000rpm range seemed to work good.
