right but the 2019’s are different. The 2019 stingray and Z51 use the a lower volume LPFP than the 2019 Z06 and ZR1 now.

Nothing yet. Going through an engine rebuild process first. Hoping that will be done in the next 3-4 weeks and can then get back on this again.

Yeah, it’s a bare *** naked block right now. And waiting on quality machine work is like watching actual turtles in a 500mi race. #sux2be.us

it will literally be better than new in no time.

This is why i bought a z06 instead of mod a lower model, i learned my lesson long ago Warranties are wonderful things. Zr1 might be too overpriced for what it is tho... time will tell.

No, unfortunately I have had way too much going on to revisit this. My motor is still mid build (though certainly progressing now) and I still have to do the rear end that I have all the parts here for right now. I am debating selling the pump and abandoning this due to time constraints. If I chose to do that, are you interested in the pump?

Did you ever get a chance to work on this? I'm curious as to what the results were and if you needed any tuning changes.

Unfortunately, no. This project got abandoned indefinitely. I came to the conclusion that it was not cost or time effective to go through the trouble of dropping the tank and swapping everything to possibly find out the pump module could actually be incompatible. I went with an external low side and tapped the tank.

I see. Do you have the 2019 Z06 calibration changes required for the new pump? For your setup you went with, how does it do on the road course? None of the aftermarket fuel systems I was looking at seem to have the bucket which I believe is helpful with fuel sloshing/surging. What are your thoughts? I'm doing some upgrades targeting 650-750rwhp, and I need to figure out what would be the most ideal upgrade if the low side can't keep up. The C7 ZR1 fuel pump seemed to be the best option as it retains the returnless design. As for the fuel pump module, could you not upgrade to the 2019 one as well?

I just did a quick check on part numbers, and it looks like the part number for the fuel pump control module (23382215) is the same between a 2016 C7 Z06, 2019 C7 Z06 and a 2019 C7 ZR1 I checked. Is my analysis correct?

It appears that all years of C7 I checked (2016 C7 Z06, 2019 C7 Z06, 2019 C7 ZR1) have all the same fuel sending unit (low side fuel pump) part number as the latest recommendation: 84815635. I checked this from gmpartsgiant.com, so not sure if that's the correct part number recommendations.

As hard to believe as it is, I don’t know that anyone has done that yet. Most just upgrade to aftermarket units

I just took a look at a 2019 C7 ZR1 calibration vs a 2016 C7 Z06 one for the fuel system and ignoring the high side differences, it looks like there is no difference in calibration between the 2019 MY and earlier in-tank fuel pumps. It would appear to be plug and play. I'd love to hear confirmation/rebuttal of that position from anyone. It must be able to flow a higher volume at the same psi?

They are indeed different and larger for both the ZR1 and Z06 for the 2019 model. I’m not sure if anyone ever went this route though for the same reason I abandoned the idea. Way too much work for not enough gain.

Just removed a pump from a 2019 Stingray, part number 84240347. Its the same as in the 2019 Z06 and ZR1.
