Dyno tune or no tune in my book. I have an AFE cai and Borla catless x-pipe, Purchasing a ported throttle body from Tony here on the forums, once that’s installed I’ll be putting my car on the rollers for a dyno tune
Ok .... you are entitled to your opinion and it's your money but with those mods you would get the same increase with a remote tune ...like others said , it's just like doing a street tune except your tuner might me in another state

Diablo and DiablowLew, he got my C6 Headers CAI dialed in really good with just a few data logs , you can see how a remote tune with a Diablo is dialed in by using the Free CRM viewer . I had some knock retard going on at the 1st to 2nd gear shift , we richened it up tad and the car responded dramatically
...If you buy HPtuners it comes with 8credits ... But a remote tune will require the tuner to license your vin to make the changes...
Hey so we have made some changes recently that makes things a little different. We just released the MPVI 2 which does not come with credits, there's a base price for the interface and then credits are added on top. With the new update the tuner will not have to license the vin, a license will only need to be purchased when flashing the tune onto a vehicle.

Thank you for the update! So HPtuners will now allow tunes to be saved by tuners and sent to the owner to be flashed. That simplfies the process quite a bit!
I went with Livernois since I have their tuning on my two Ford Ecoboost trucks. I like the tune on my Grandsport; I have a Vararam CAI, Mamo TB, Mamo MSD Intake and Borla Xpipe. I will be at a crossroads with a handheld tuner as soon as I intend to install headers. I am deciding between Kooks long tube or the ARH Midlength with cats. Using my Livernois, I restore my ECU back to OEM each time I go in for service. I know about the in-depth analysis GM can do on the ECU to discover outside flashing, but I would rather not tell my dealer don't touch the ECU because it is tuned. Right now each time I make a change, my tuner can adjust my tune and send me a new file no charge. If I go the Kooks route, I have to keep the tune due to the O2 sensors. At that point, I might go with HPTuners and get the car on a dyno. I am not looking to squeeze every last horsepower out of the car; I want a nice clean tune for my bolt on. A friend just got the new HPTuners MVPI handheld I want to see how that works out.
is there a law ..... I had a C6 that was Diablo tuned and it just so happens that yesterday I had my C7 Diablo tuned
This is a C7 forums...
Am I offending you lol lol lol
No offense to any of the "mail order" or "canned tunes" on the market, but why not actually go have your car tuned by a reputable tuner on a dyno where they can accurately monitor your specific vehicle and make changes accordingly?
So you can return it to stock if you need to take it in for warranty work.
