LT4 oil pump electric plug
Building a new 427 from scratch and I'm wondering what electric plug is on oil pump ? oil pressure sensor ? I called the dealer and they couldn't find a electric connector on pump? any help is appreciated and a harness part number would be great and where it goes to

The LT1 has a variable displacement oil pump. I saw a drawing on the forum a long time ago showing how the displacement was changed. I expect there is a solenoid or actuator that makes the change. Don't know if LT4 and LT5 have a similar configuration.

If you read the linked document there is a statement that the solenoid activates to lower pressure when not needed. If indeed NO POWER or NO SIGNAL puts the pump in full pressure mode I guess you could get away with not connecting it. Don't know how to verify this. I don't have the service manuals. Also don't know oil pressure requirement of your new motor.
