Default Optimal Stereo Upgrade?

Hello,
I have been formulating a plan for a optimal upgrade for the 2017 Convertible Corvette stereo system keeping all stock system controls and head unit and will be easily reversible back to stock.
The base source will be iPhone X connected with USB cable playing Flac music tracks with a Flac player app.
Nav-TV M650-GM interface utilizing optical out at 24/96 to a JL Audio VX1000/5.i amp.
Replace door subs with JL audio C7-650cw Component Woofer fed by JL amp, leaving the mids, tweets and center channel intact to stock amp/system with possible future upgrade to full C7 3 way component system. (Not sure what will fit?)
Remove convertible partition, and disconnect speakers directly behind the seat backs.
Dual 8" sub box in trunk with attached boxes for JL Audio C5 650-X co-axle speakers, all rear speakers speakers facing forward directly behind the folded down top, with dual Solo Baric L7 2 Ohm 8" subs ported @ 37Hz, fed by JL Amp powered mono at 2 Ohm.
Install sound deadening material in doors and rear, and build trim to cover exposed areas after convertible partition removal.
Was thinking about some backing cups/enclosures for the door woofers to prevent vibration and enhance performance if they fit.

Any insight, thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!

The door subs (woofers actually) are part of the Bose system. Typically one would replace all the drivers when using the M650. The M650 would feed the DSP which in turn feeds the amplifiers and then speakers. I've never heard of someone replacing part of the Bose system. It could be interesting and getting a good balance could be difficult.

I'm planning on using a pair of the Dynaudio MW182s for the door woofers and the Audiofrog GB25/GB10 for mid/tweets. M650 -> JBL MS-8 -> Biketronics BT4180 (2). Still waffling on a sub (Vettenuts w/JL 10W3V3) vs rears (Morel Tempo Ultra 502 Integra) or both.

I would like to get the stock subs out of the doors. they sound terrible and vibrate like crazy.. The stock system has tons of highs and upper mids up front. I think they sound ok, they go to the point of my personal loudness threshold without distortion. It was my conclusion that some properly dialed in woofers in the doors would fill the mid range void I am noticing and stop the excessive vibration and distortion. I am hoping with ported 8" Solobarics starting at 20 HZ and full range co-axles adding to the mids, it would sound much better. The whole system would not be much louder then stock, the JL amp volume would be set to match the stock speakers volume level, just a more complete sound spectrum with up to 600 watts of sub bass on tap and nothing vibrating and distorting at 3/4 volume.

Nav TV says the 650 can be setup anyway you need, using optical and analog flat stereo output at the same time and still retain the entire stock system if desired. The new JL amps are fully configurable from a phone app. Very cool stuff.

I looked at the Dynaudio and Audiofrog, very nice pieces. I think you should sub from the back though! The doors skins will pop off with 1000 watt subs hahaha.. No seriously.
If I had a coupe I would have one of those Stealth JL Sub boxes in a heartbeat!

I'm leaning towards doing the rears and w/o a sub and see how it turns out. If I'm not 100% happy with it I'll add the sub. W/O the sub all channels are active. Adding the sub would require adding Xovers for the Audiofrog (the MS-8 is only 8 channels). Not a problem other than more $$s.
