Here is the only video we have with stock mufflers. The other videos will be of our shop C7 ZO6, which has custom mufflers on it.

Joetori08: We dont offer any discounts at this time sorry.

I am assuming CRNA15 didn't try to install them on the cylinder head. We pre-drill the drivers side header prior to leaving our facility to make sure they fit. FYI the last set of TSP C7 headers we installed hit the drivers side frame rail, and one of the O2 sensors was impossible to get in. We had to weld an entirely new bung on them. This was approx 2 years ago with a car that had 300 miles on it. I am not sure if any changes have been made from that batch, but just a heads up.

Thanks

Bro, cmon. Don’t give me that. You think I would tear down my car and not try to install the headers? Does that make any sense? I specifically ordered the acdelco metal gaskets as well. Based on this picture does it look anywhere close to fitting?

CRNA15: Thank you for your business. As mentioned in previous threads our drivers side header flange was welded incorrectly, however since finding out about the mistake we pre-drill the drivers side flange prior to them leaving our facility. Even though the holes are skewed the header should still bolt up to the head, and align within the chassis correctly. We have been selling them for a year now without any installation issues minus the first 4-5 customers that received headers prior to us knowing about the flanges. We also have the same set on our shop race car doing over 1000rwhp. Your more than welcome to return them if you like, however I don't see them being a major concern.

Thanks
Sean

We don't sell them unfortunately. They were just a one off we did on our car. There should be some pics on our Instagram of them I believe.

Thanks

First you said they welded the driver side flange backwards. So now you’re telling me you pre-drill the incorrectly welded flange so that it is “skewed” but still lines up? So it either says two things, you still have a **** load of driver side headers with the wrong flanges that you’re trying to remedy by redrilling. Or you have headers shipped to you without flange holes that you’re drilling in shop, which you apparently can’t drill/align worth a damn. You’re just digging yourself a deeper hole here. You shouldn't be selling headers that have holes that are “skewed but still align”. Does that picture I posted with the Acdelco gaskets look anywhere close to you? The holes are off AND the exhaust outlets are 1/4in off.

I also got an email about returning these headers and they want a 20% restocking fee...

We have been honest, and up front with everyone regarding our headers. Yes, as stated months ago the flange on the drivers side was accidentally welded on incorrectly, however they are close enough to pre-drill, which allows them to still work, and perform just fine. We have not seen any issues that have risen in the last year from doing so. We are also selling our headers 500.00+ cheaper than competitors. If the flange is a concern to customers we understand, and want to make sure everyone is aware. If you feel you have been cheated or miss informed your are more than welcome to return the headers, and I will make sure the restocking fee is waived.

Thanks

Sorry for resurfacing this old thread.. just seeing if anyone has any updates on these headers or if any others ended up taking a chance. I emailed “Marcus” yesterday and he assured me that all the old inventory of the headers with the flanges being welded on backwards and the flange holes being drilled out are now gone. Apparently all the new inventory has the correct setup. I also asked for dyno before and after results, to no avail which I found to be a little odd. Bit the damn price is so tempting.. only because that’s what the price of headers should be. I know ARP headers come highly recommended.

I was really tempted myself. I spoke with someone from the company and the headers sounded pretty legit. They obviously won’t down play their own product. At the end of the day I ended up going with Texas Speed and performance. Even their headers weren’t a perfect fit. I had to to use a ratchet strap to pull the collectors together to get the mid pipe on. The new plate they supply that covers the mid pipe / torque tube is very nice. I did the install on jack stands in my garage. TSP seemed to be that middle of the road pricing. You don’t pay as big of corvette tax with them. I’m 34 and started building my first car when I was 13. Parents bought me an $800 car and said we will help you with the stuff you don’t know. The deal was I wanted a hot rod mustang and to get it I had to build it. Headers were a couple hundred bucks and then the local exhaust guy welded up a mid pipe with mufflers for another $235. About $500 for full exhaust. Prices these days blow my mind. In the end the sound is so worth it.

Thanks buddy! Little shocked to hear even TSP not lining up, thanks for the info. Still tossing this around... someone had to have pulled the trigger on these I would think? Maybe not?

Wanted to add my .02.

I got these for my '16 Z06. Overall very happy with them!

Fit, I worried about beforehand, is perfect. Totally flat where meets the block, no leaks.

Sound is BRUTAL with mbrp axle back and no cats.

For the money, a great set of headers.

I have the Speed Engineering on my 16 C7. Great headers for sure. Made great power and lost a bunch of weight over the stock exhaust and when I went to track after tuning it on the dyno I went from 11.58@119 to 11.18@125. So I'd say a really good value. I did have a couple leaks so I went out and bought a couple 4" Stainless band clamps that took care of it. Just gives a little more coverage then the standard clamps that came with it. I think I spent $40 bucks so to me it was a great buy in my opinion. Very happy with my purchase.

Sean, The clamps directly behind the X pipe contact tunnel plate. Is there a way around using spacers on the tunnel plate? I'm considering tweaking the hangers so they get pulled up 1/4 ".

I never had that problem, so I guess mine were turned just right not to make contact.

Hi Guys,
Just wondering how things have progressed with the Speed Engineering Header set ups. I just ordered my set for my C7 Z51. I absolutely loved the set I had on my C6 (with factory NPP). I received a ton of compliments on the sound. I just can't live with the stock C7 sound.
Hoping for a good fitment! I'll also have the headers and xpipe ceramic coated. I had that done with my C6 and they remained new looking 4 years later.
