Z06 stock air intake..hmmmmmm ?
Just curious, would the stock z06 air intake work on a base/Z51 stingray ?? obviously probably no performance gain, but would you get aa bit more sound???

They already share the same airbox and air filter, the only thing that differs is the tube due to engine designs (throttle body is in a different location and angle between the two).

I have AFE's intake kit on my C7 Z51 and love the additional induction growl it gave.

Had my aFe installed on my 2014 Z51 for several years, removed when I sold it and put it on my Grand Sport. No CEL trips (didn't expect any from conversations wit aFe.)
Love the sound at WOT! Great investment as less than half the price of NPP for sound at WOT and probably a bit more than the NPP extra 5 hp!
All I had to do was clean the oiled cotton, low restriction filter I purchased and reoil when I put in the Grand Sport! Have use K&N for years in cars with MAFs. No issue IF you don't over oil. Can't even feel the oil on the supplied filter from aFe and you should not "feel" it when reoiling. Just takes some patience and time to clean with their solutions, allow time to dry the apply oil very sparingly on the top of each filter outer ridge. Wait and hour or more and the colored oil color will spread through the cotton. If you see areas that aren't colored just apply a few drops.

I have a lightly used AFE's intake kit that I just took off my 2015 Z-51 when I traded up for a 2019 Z-06. I will sell it complete in original box for $50.00 and you pay shipping. I live just north of San Antonio Tx.

Very good price as it's very well made and nothing to wear but the filter!
FWIW, I took mine off my 2014 Z51 when I sold it and installed it on my 2017 Grand Sport. The kit difference with the new dry sump in a Grand Sport/Z06 is the one versus two hoses going to the air inlet tube in the Helmholtz appendage. aFe has a plug to replace the hose barb, other wise install is the same, at least with the Grand Sport. Mine is oiled cotton so all I did was clean the filter and reoil and good to go.
If not important to you, perhaps for a potential buyer!
