Accessory Mode - Puzzlement
In accessory mode, my 2017 L1 A8, sitting in the garage having been run or not, i.e., warm or cold, has a buzzing sound coming from the rear of the car. I am aware of the existence of the transmission cooling fan, but this noise does not appear to sound anything like a fan motor. Since I have never needed to use the accessory mode, I have no idea if the noise is of recent origin. One of my limber friends crawled under the vehicle and said he thought the noise was coming from an area at or near the exhaust system. Since this is the base model, I should not have the exhaust baffle setup, which would not be operated electronically anyway. Before I take it to the dealer and ask what's going on, I'm sure one of the members will be able to solve the puzzle. And, thanks in advance.
