Default Exhaust tune

I have a 2017 Grand Sport, I have manually set the exhaust to track mode. I have noticed a great sound except while in fourth gear. I have to have more than 1700 rpm before the baffles open. is this typical?

Yes even in track mode it closes at low speeds in 4th. It can be tuned out but there are cheaper ways to keep them open if that is all you are looking for.

#1) Pull the fuse, but then the valves will be open 100% of the time and you won't be able to adjust the exhaust sound FREE
or
#2) Get a Mild to Wild or Forza Motorsports exhaust controller. These essentially remotely "unplug" the NPP fuse allowing you to have the exhaust in normal operation mode where the valves change with the driving modes or you can click the fob (and even program the homelink button to do it) and it will open the NPP valve circuit remotely acting like you just pulled the fuse. about $75
or
#3) buy HPTuners and credits for your CCM. $500+
