Default Using launch control with a SC and modified high HP C7

I've been looking all over the forums and internet and cant seem to find anything. I am talking about launch control.

I have the A6 auto at over 700rwhp. Each time I try to launch the car..the car slides or is rolling forward as the brake is depressed and I mean I am smashing the brake pedal.

The only way I am able to launch it is, I have to put in manual mode and select 2nd gear..than I engaged the launch settings and the car takes off. Since its 2nd gear, it has less torque and the car can actually stabilized the rpms for the launch.

I am wondering if other C7 automatic transmission owners are having issues with LC with the added horsepower and torque?

Yikes...700rwhp A6. Can't answer that, but I can answer on an A8 and only 422rwhp: don't ***** around, stomp on it if you're in Track mode/performance mode, at staging. It'll hit the optimum RPM and sit there (should). Pop the brake...gone. If you ease into it, it will want to spin the tires and Track Mode doesn't like that.
(BTW, you have two identical topics).

I make close to 700 hp at the crank and mine works fine. Put it in track mode, then hit the center button on the mode selector twice. That will turn off TC and stibility control. Then hold the brake peddle down as if a panic stop, then with your right foot press the accelerator peddle down full very quickly. The RPMs should stabilize around 2200. Then just dump the brake and you should be off with no issues.

I just went out and tried it again. It works fine of 2nd gear. In D mode the car just keeps rolling forward from all the tq and hp and the rpms wont stabilize. I tried a manual launch, I put it in rack mode and than with the rpms at 1300-1500, the brake pushed in..its like a rocket. I would just love to have the LC work the right way. Makes more for consistant launches. In manual launches human error can occur more commonly.
