I used MSD plug wires on my C5, C6 and now C7 with ARH headers. Works great, fits fine and no need for heat shielding.

Still using oem wires without heat shielding on my GS. Haven't had any issues as of yet with the 2" primaries causing wires to burn

I install several sets every year, and ARH 1-7/8 catless on my car now that I bought used without any worries whatsoever.
I flat OUT REFUSE to install an eBay header on anything but a golf cart. You either know this lesson well or you WILL learn it.

John,

I noticed on another thread that you were doing in car cam/head installs. Do you have a business, and where are you located?

thanks

Check this out, should I worry about this boot barely touching the header?

you know, you can twist the boot so the flat section of the “hex” rubber is parallel with the header. It won’t touch then.

4 pinion diff with help from div7racer (block specs) and rflow (billet block and cnc carrier machining)

My personal 769/791 pump gas car

Here the cradle is still there and the cam is out...

This is Kevin’s car, anyone familiar with “da pad” where New Orleans racers gather know about this car, a 416 that kills 9 sec cars does it without the spray. Everything except the machine work was done here, I built the trans (5300.00 in parts alone), set up the 12 bolt gears, etc...

This one is a 416ci LT4 with a clutch issue but it’s a daily.

I am just the local vette guru/LSX/trans/diff/builder/tuner that has a 2400sqft shop separate from my daily business (Commercial Locksmith/Safe/Vault technician who installs access control systems and new construction) but vettes are mostly what I do. I have been doing auto conversions on zo6’s since 2001 and on c4s before that. My personal cars are usually cammed and heavily modded within the first thousand miles or so. My zr1 got 822rwhp for its 500mi oil change back in 09, car 1022.
I am doing nothing more exotic this week than an ARH header install and tune on a 14 stingray belonging to a local corvette club member. But I can do it all...

I just put these on Monday and did the tune, 1-7/8 coated ARH catted with stock NPP. I addressed other issues in the tune as well, so the throttle body can go 100% and stay there as soon as he drops the hammer

Put ceramic wires on that are thinner than the oem boots. I feel like I didn't need them but an ounce of prevention I guess and they look cool.

Hello. What was the sound difference / volume difference with the catted 1 ⅞? Huge or hardly noticeble? Thanks
