Default Intake manifold removal EVAP connector


what is the secret to releasing this electrical connector before I break it? I have the white part slid out as far as it will go, I must be an idiot

Three months ago I removed my Evap, and plugged the outlet hole to keep it clean, and the bugs out. I reinstalled the Intake Manifold a few weeks ago, and forgot to remove the plug before mounting the Evap sensor lol. It throw a p0455 code large Evap leak. I wasn't sure where the Evap was located. Thanks to you, your pic shows exactly where its located.

Just did it recently, if I recall, slide the white lock back then squeeze the lock into the connector housing to release. Have to push pretty hard, it doesn't come apart easily.

I usually resort to using a pair or needle nose pliers to help squeeze and pull.

i removed the whole kit n kaboodle from the intake manifold and left it plugged in. laid it over to the side. i was also afraid of breaking it.
