The general assumption would be that when adding a supercharger (or any form of FI to any vehicle), you are no longer concerned about eeking out mileage

For what it's worth, mine is in the shop now having the tune tweaked. While they're in there playing around with tables, I asked them if they could turn 4-banger mode back on but only above 65mph. Not sure if it can be set that way (based on speed) but if it can, they'll turn mine back on. I expect bad mileage around town but see no reason not to have it when kicked back with cruise control on.

Picked it up late yesterday and didn't get a chance to hit the open road and test it but the tuner said they were able to enabled 4-banger mode again and set it 65mph. However, he wasn't entirely sure it would work as intended (he'd never tried it on a '17+). Driving home from the shop I was in Sport mode (A8) and did hit the cruise control in 1mph increments from 66mph-70mph. It didn't display 4 cyl mode being activated at any point but that could be due to several factors and doesn't necessarily mean it's not working. I'll update again after I have a chance to hit the open road and can throw it in eco/touring mode on a nice flat road.

I think I would ask if it could just be limited to Eco mode, and that way, if I really wanted to stretch out the gas mileage, I would just throw it into eco mode.
I installed an Edlebrock in a buddies C7 and Yes in the tune returned by Edlebrock they will tune out the 4 cylinder mode. So I do not know what supercharger you have but I know Edlebrock will De Tune the 4 cylinder feature.

It didn't sound like it could be tied to a mode....had to be speed and load based I believe. That would be nice though if it only worked in eco mode. Next time I'm in the shop I'll ask/clarify. After more driving though, I can confirm it does not indicate in the dash that it is going into 4 cylinder mode above 65mph like it should be. Tuner has had a hell of a time with the new ECU in these so there may be another table that needs tweaked...
