My wife's Stingray is having intermittent blower issues. When the car is cool the HVAC blower works fine. But if the car sits outside the blower will shut off until the car cools down?
If I make a full throttle blast from 0 to xxx on a hot day, the A/C seems to stop working for a few seconds (I can briefly feel the hot humid air coming into the cabin), but everything goes back to normal after I resume normal throttle. Engine tamps are normal and remain so.
Engine temps are normal as the car isn't running. This happens after car is sitting outside (115 in the desert). It quit altogether now so I ordered a blower motor assembly. My guess is the resistor is bad so i will just replace the whole assembly rather than figure out the resistor problem. I will see if this works. hard to believe it would go out with 25,000 miles but I guess it did.
