Service Manual
I have a 2019 Z06 and would like to buy the service manual. I've been checking helminc.com and the latest manual I see is for the 2017s. Since the 2018 is not yet available I'm loosing hope on getting a 2019 manual anytime soon. I think any changes from 2017 to 2019 is minor so I'm leaning towards just getting the 2017 manual. Just looking for opinions on what if any issues I may have if I get the 2 year old manual. Thanks in advance.

2015 C7 of the Year Finalist
It took ~2 years for me to get my 2014 books. There are 4 books about 1 3/4" thick. It was slow getting that stuff through Helms.

I think you will be fine with the 2017 manual for your 2019, there were really no changes between these years...other than the HD FM radio feature returned. I used an online 2014 manual (alldatadiy.com) until the 2017 manuals became available. The Helms paper (or USB softcopy) is significantly more complete than the alldata version, which was pretty good.

GM sometimes changes stuff in the car from year to year, and doesn't advertise it.
Probably 99% of the 2017 manual will be correct, but you don't know what's different in that other 1%.
Tough decision.

You could buy the 2017 manuals, keep them in good shape, then sell the lot on Ebay when the 2018 manuals are released. Or, buy the USB PDF version for less money. If Helm runs out of stock there may be a spike in the price of used manuals, as they may delay putting them back in production until sufficient orders are received. That happened to me with my C6 manuals that I paid $150 for used and sold for $200 three years later during one of those shifts in the supply-demand curve.

Or just subscribe to alldatadiy.com for $29 a year for the 2017 Corvette, till the 2019 Helms manual becomes available in about a year. The alldata subscription gives you about 80% of the Helms manual content (the official GM service manual), certainly the important stuff.
