Wow, huge difference. Sometimes, I think the brakes aren't even working There's a huge difference in bite and friction between OEM and these I'm not sure it's worth pressure washing the wheels every few days.
I'm gonna try scotch bright on the rotors this weekend and bedding them again to see what happens but so far, not a fan. I think I would have gone for the Carbotech (despite being $300 more) over these.

I did Z26 pads and the new revised Z51 rotors together and have experience no loss in stopping power other than that 1st cold brake application of the day.

I have no perceived loss of braking performance (street driving) on my GS. I just swapped the pads, didn't touch the rotors. Didn't do any "bedding" procedure either.

Are you talking about street driving?

Not trying to be a smartass, but have you tried pushing harder on the brake pedal ?
The initial bite is notably less on my car after Z26 installation but there is no braking ability loss. Push harder !

I know what you mean. They have no bite. It is a known fact they don't stop as well as stock or track pads. They are only good for reducing dust and that is the only reason I tried them for daily driving, but now I am happy to go back to cleaning dust and having brakes that stop.

I have no noticeable loss of braking power with powerstops on the street. I had carbotech and definitely experienced brake fade during spirited street driving.

The guys at GM are smart no? Stock stuff is all you need unless youre a track rat.
Spending on a pad that sucks just so theres less dust makes no sense to me?

They seemed fine to me, after I did the bedding process.

These are fine, unless you track the car. If you run into brake fade on the street you are probably getting ready for jail anyway, lol.

I've had them on my '18 GS for 3 weeks. Bedded them and see no reduction in stopping power on the street. I have no plans to go on the track.
