Default Tick 95mm Throttle Body and MSD Intake

I wanted to share some results we have seen with our new 95mm TB installed on the MSD manifold. This graph is of a completely stock 16 Camaro SS M6 (same engine as the Vette) and then with the MSD and 95mm TB combo. This is a pretty simple bolt on kit that is proven to make power. http://www.tickperformance.com/2018-...dy-combo-deal/

Is this tuned or just with the parts bolted on?

Yes, I would agree as its about 500 horse at the flywheel versus 470.

I am impressed by the power in the upper RPM. It's over 40 more hp at about 6450 rpm.

The correction factor is determined by the weather and temperature and automatically calibrates. For two run files to show the same CF, you would have to do pulls pretty much back to back.

I deleted my post because I realized the humidly and temp were different enough to change the CF. You must have responded quick enough before I deleted.

I'm trying to be more active than in the past. So I'm keeping three forums pulled up at all times and refresh them every chance I get lol.

Great results! With E85, ARH, and a tune I think 500 is possible.

I'm not sure about the Vette, but I know some of the Camaro guys say to have made high 480's low 490's with bolt-ons. It depends on how happy the dyno is also.

Awesome results.
Have you done any ported heads also with this combo?

Not with this combo. We have done some head work on other cars, but most of them were supercharged.

Was the throttle body ported as well? If not how much do you think porting would add to a combo like this (i.e. stock engine)?

To be realistic you would only see another 1-3 hp with the ported version with just bolt on's.

No, it will not. It's hard to explain to most people. But unless you are pushing your blower/turbo to the limit of its ability it will do you no good to port this manifold and TB. Lots of people will not agree with that. But I have seen first hand on blower and turbo applications over the years that a simple tb port job on a centrifugal blower or turbo kit is not going to gain you anything.

On a screw charger setup the bigger the better in the case of the TB because it has to draw air through it to make power.
